About the Study

Skinly is offering consumers the chance to better understand their skin by joining a worldwide, at-home skincare study with Beiersdorf Germany – at no cost.

How it Works

The Skinly measuring device has a moisture sensor and a special camera with three different light sources: direct light, fluorescence stimulating light and polarized light.

Participants use the device twice a day to measure individual skin characteristics on the cheek, eye wrinkle, forehead and forearm – i.e. skin age, wrinkle depth, skin tone, tints of the skin and impurities. The results are analyzed and recorded in the associated app, which also displays the participant’s individual skin report after the measurement has been taken.

In addition to the daily measurements, our study participants can also use the app to record data on topics such as sleep, nutrition, skin care products and more.

1  Apply now! As a participant, you will receive free Eucerin products and a Skinly measuring device. Measure your skin daily and enter your lifestyle data to find out what influences your skin. You’ll also get to test some skincare products not on the market yet.

3  Every six months Skinly participants who measure their skin regularly receive new skincare products free of charge, to be used as you like. 

4  Should you want to leave the study, just let Skinly know! Then simply send your measuring device back with a prepaid return label (we suggest keeping the packaging it came in) and your Skinly account will be deleted.
