The lips are covered by a thin layer of horny cells, making them vulnerable to contact and friction. They also have no sweat- or sebum-producing glands, which are important for maintaining moisture levels. Active ingredients in Eucerin Lip Repair work to soothe and regenerate cracked skin. They then provide protection against environmental stresses such as free radicals, working to supplement the low concentration of UV-absorbing melanin found in the lips. Together, they provide caring lipids, helping to moisturise skin.

How can I tell if a product is safe for sensitive skin?
Eucerin Sensitive Skin products have been specially developed to combine excellent skin protection and regeneration with clinically proven skin tolerability. However, in general, if you’re trying out a new product, apply it repeatedly to skin at the flexure of the elbow. If it does not lead to redness, swelling or itching the product can be assumed to be compatible with your skin.
