Thiamidol is a Eucerin patented ingredient. Ten years in development, this highly effective active is clinically and dermatologically proven to reduce dark spots and prevent their re-appearance.
Hyaluronic Acid is formed by skin cells and is part of the connective tissue of the skin. One of its key functions is to retain moisture, and it has the ability to bind in between 1,000 and 10,000 times its own weight in water (i.e. one gram binds between one and ten liters). As we age, the skin's natural ability to produce Hyaluronic Acid depletes and wrinkles start to form and deepen.
Glycerin – sometimes spelt `Glycerine` and also known as Glycerol – is a humectant which means it helps attract water and keep it in the skin. It is a very effective moisturizer that smooths dry skin and gives it long-lasting moisturization and care. It is both colorless and odorless.
Can I use Eucerin Dark Circle Illuminating Eye Care alongside other Eucerin moisturisers?
Eucerin Dark Circle Illuminating Eye Care can be used alone or integrated into any skincare routine. We recommend that you use Eucerin Anti-Pigment Skin Perfecting Serum twice a day, in the morning and evening.
If you experience hyperpigmentation but it is not your primary skin-aging concern, then you may want to apply Eucerin Anti-Pigment Skin Perfecting Serum before one of our anti-aging care products such as:
Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Day SPF 30, which plumps up fine lines and deep wrinkles for a rejuvenated look
Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Moisture Booster for an immediate moisture boost
Will this product protect my delicate skin from UV damage?
Eucerin Dark Circle Illuminating Eye Care does not protect skin from the sun. As the sun’s rays are a key contributor to hyperpigmentation it’s important to wear an appropriate sun protection product, even on cloudy days. We recommend that, if you apply Eucerin Dark Circle Illuminating Eye Care in the morning, you follow it with Eucerin Anti-Pigment Day SPF 30 to help fade existing acne marks and protect skin from the sun, thereby reducing further sun-induced pigmentation issues. For intense sun exposure choose a higher protection factor from the Eucerin Sun Protection range.
How can I boost my skin’s radiance?
Eucerin Dark Circle Illuminating Eye Care can be used effectively as part of your regular skincare routine to make your skin more even and radiant. You can also adopt certain self-care habits at home to increase your skin’s glow.
Can I use this eye cream under my make-up?
Yes. Eucerin Dark Circle Illuminating Eye Care is an excellent make-up base for your eyes.
Would you like your skin to look more even?
Eucerin Dark Circle Illuminating Eye Care corrects and reduces any type of dark circles for an immediate fresh and awake look. For best results, use in combination with other products in the Eucerin Anti-Pigment range.
We take responsibility. For your skin. And our planet.
